Project Goals
| Transformation | Provide the resources to allow teachers' experience and confidence to be transformed into classroom activities that fully engage students in science. | |
| Promote a constructivist teaching pedagogy in biology, chemistry, environmental science, and physics in the high schools throughout the three county region of the MidHudson Valley. | |
| Teaching | Guide teachers in the design of laboratory activities that model a new pedagogy. | |
| Computers | Integrate computers into the high school program. | |
| Networking | Develop a dynamic electronic network that links classroom teachers together with the technical and college faculty support that they need. | |
| Provide teachers with computers and training. | |
| Attitude | To bring about a substantial change in teachers behavior in the classroom and laboratory, and elevate the level of science education throughout the Mid-Hudson Valley. |
