We are currently following the NEW The Physical Setting: Regents Earth Science Core Curriculum Guide put out by the New York State Education Department. The course is broken down into 10 major units. They are:

  1. Introduction (Graphing and Density)
  2. Earth In Space
  3. Earth's Motions & Seasons
  4. Earth's History
  5. Mapping
  6. Surface Processes And Landscapes
  7. Meteorology
  8. The Water Cycle And Climates
  9. Minerals And Rocks
  10. The Dynamic Crust

In addition to the curriculum above, students are responsible for completing 30 lab hours. If these labs are not completed, the student will not be able to sit for the Regents Exam. All labs will be written up according to a specified format. This format can be obtained from the link to the Science Lab Write Up page listed below.
