I am a 1984 graduate of Cortland State University, with a BS in Physical Education and a minor in Biology. The following year I worked at Oneonta State University and coached track and field at Hartwick College. From here I went to San Diego State University to study Exercise Physiology. After working as a Fitness Director for the YMCA and coaching track and field, I decided teaching was the area for me. I took my education courses through Iona College and am currently in my fifth year of teaching at Valley Central High School in Montgomery, New York. This upcoming year will be my first year teaching biology. I also have been coaching women's track and field for the past twelve years.I have been and still am an avid runner. Other interests include: fishing(salt water), most motor sports(NASCAR), biking, travel, and being with my family.
